Who am I?
My name is Shai Nahon and I’m the owner and founder of Shai Nahon – Ecological Tourism aka Shai Tours. We are one of the leading tour companies in Israel, currently ranked among the highest if not the highest on TripAdvisor, and for a good reason. I’ve been guiding since 2014 and founded Shai Tours out of a deep passion to provide my tourists with the best services available in the Israeli market.

What are my credentials?
I am a licensed tour guide in Israel, specializing in Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Biblical Teachings.
Each tour guide in Shai Tours has their own field of expertise and we make sure to assign the right guide with the right client.

Why did I decide to become a Tour Guide?
For years I traveled the world and sampled the tourism services in every place I visited. I returned home with a powerful insight, realizing Israel isn’t like anywhere else, it is not just a tour destination, it’s everyone’s home.
I knew I wanted to open my own tour company, one that will provide my tourists with the best services available. My passion in life is traveling, and I’m excited every day to facilitate the finest travel experience for my customers.

We make Israel more accessible as we introduce both the classical highlights, along with the less known and less commonly seen locations in this incredible place. We focus on what you want to get out of your trip.
Be it a better understanding of the Biblical text, a more in depth understanding of the Geo-Political situation or simply a “Fun Time”, we make sure the trip is everything you imagined, and more.
In recent years we have planned and executed numerous varied tours. The tours have all been customized to the customer’s demands and were built with great care after consulting them in regards to the content delivered, the sights chosen, guiding style and more. We pride ourselves today on being able to plan and execute almost any style of tour you can imagine in the land of Israel and we would love to do it with you.
We can plan the Itinerary, reserve Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, Transportation (Helicopter, Bus, Minibus or VIP vehicle), Security if necessary and naturally the Guiding itself. If you do not wish to receive the full package from us but rather get only some of the services that is absolutely possible as well.
Whether this is a Business Visit, extended family Bar Mitzvah trip or a small and intimate tour with friends, we would be happy to be at your service and execute your plan in the best way possible.
